It's a wonder I'm not spinning out of control with all of the spiral bracelets and necklaces that I've been making. I love beadweaving with the single spiral, tubular peyote, russian spiral, cellini spiral stitch, just to name a few. The ones that take the longest are often the most fun because it allows for more hours of beading. It is really my evening meditation. I can't wait to sit down at my table and decide what to work on each night. Of course, I have several pieces going at once. Sometimes just changing to a different piece with different colors can keep the excitement going. Here are a few pictures of some of the recent designs:

Healing Jewelry

Healing can be accomplished using any combination of tools. As a holistic health nurse, I facilitate the process of moving forward with kinesiology, flower essences, color, affirmations, brain hemisphere integration exercises and numerous other techniques.

What I especially love to do is create a piece of jewlery that balances the chakras. Using color, gem stone properties, reiki, intention and a lot of love, a unique healing bracelet or necklace becomes just what the doctor (or in this case..nurse) orders.

For example, this bracelet is made with a Swarovski crystal called Fire Opal. It is a brilliant orange with lots of sparkle and "bling". This particular color is wonderful for balancing Second or Reproductive Chakra ~ the energy center that relates to sex, power, money and the sweetness of our soul.

Healing never looked or felt so good!

Bead Weaving

Half the fun of beading is finding a stitch that is versatile and experimenting with different materials. The Single Spiral stitch is easy to do and can be woven with chips, seed beads, Swarovski crystals and pearls, large gems and just about anything you find that interests you. Color combinations are endless, as well. Sometimes, the best designs occur at 10 o'clock at night when you want to bead and you have to work with what's on hand. Those are the pieces of mine that are copied!
